Little Flower teachers

Sardha teaches UKG, which means "upper kindergarten." Sardha's late husband had leprosy.

Johar's father has leprosy. He grew up in Little Flower. Soraj and Augustine have no leprosy in their families.

Rajesh (the office assistant/substitute teacher), Mansuri, Vishal, Vishak (errand boy who is an orphan Little Flower is trying to help), Kailas (my 17-year-old translator), and the principal.

Mansuri contracted leprosy in 1966, just after completing high school with the tenth grade. He was forced to move to a leprosy colony and eventually lost half of one of his feet.

Rajesh's mother had leprosy. He grew up in Little Flower and himself went to school here. The same for Vishak.

Teacher Kushi with her husband Shiva and children. Their apartment is teeny tiny. The front door immediately opens into the master bedroom/living room. They are sitting on the bed. I think there's just another room and a kitchen in the back. There are public latrines down the street.

I can't remember who had leprosy in their family, I think both Kushi and Shiva had a parent with the disease.

Teacher Rambha with her two-year-old daughter, P... (can't quite remember her name). Her father-in-law had leprosy. Her husband grew up in Little Flower.
