Asa and Krishna are married and both grew up in Little Flower village. Krishna is the managing director. Asa oversees purchases, like my daily food. Their two adult children are studying in southern India.
The newly weds. As is common here, it is an arranged marriage. The bride is 15 and in seventh grade. Whether she can continue her education is decided by her new in-laws. They live with the groom's family, in their two-room apartment.
Pretty blue door. Is the hole for a purpose? Poor little 15 year old. Who is in charge of the arranged marriages? The two sets of parents? Do some young people chose their spouse or is that very rare in that area?
